Save the date’s for our Senior school production of Vaclav Havel’s play Memorandum at Divadlo Na Prádle on Besední 487/3, 118 00 Malá Strana. This is a not-for-profit production – any monies from tickets will go towards funds for ECP’s Vaclav Havel Scholarship.
We are absolutely delighted to celebrate our 25th Anniversary at the English College in Prague this year. In recognition of our Founder Patron, Václav Havel, our Head of Drama, Logan Hillier is preparing a performance of Memorandum with our senior students. Performances are scheduled for Friday 22nd November & Saturday 23rd November at 19.30.

In keeping with our cross curricular theme of Technology this session, the setting of the play is stylistically inspired by 1960s Futurism. This is a great chance explore, examine and interpret the important creative and intellectual themes in Havel’s work, offering an important insight into the philosophy of our Founder Patron as a playwright.
Drama and Art students are collaborating – with Year 5 Artists contributing to the set design.
